The Cottage
The former stables were lovingly transformed with wooden floors, a cozy fireplace, exposed beams, granite stone walls and antique details; creating an authentic atmosphere.
Modern elements such as high-speed satellite WIFI, bluetooth speakers, a well-equipped contemporary kitchen and an outdoor barbecue provide all the comforts of an elevated stay.

The Garden
The potager — with its veggies, raised beds, berry bushes, fruit trees and a greenhouse — keeps growing and flourishing. Not only is it the source of fresh and flavorous fruit and vegetables for our colourful and healthy menus and farm products throughout the seasons, it also creates a lush base for a more simple life in harmony with nature and brings joy!
Permaculture design principles allow to close the energy circle and support nature in its ability to provide abundance. By growing old, robust, seed-proof varieties and choosing not to use any chemical components we’re showing love to all of the gardens‘ inhabitants, protecting the soil and enhance its fertility in a natural way.
What’s Around?
Within 5km of the cottage there is a goat cheese farm, a basket maker, a strawberry farm, the dynamic village of Mellionec hosting an annual documentary film festival and other events in the summer, two organic stores & cafés, a lovely little bookstore café, yoga classes, massage therapists, a ceramics studio and an organic bakery that offers delicious pizza on Wednesday nights and the restaurant L’Atelier Bistro in Langoelan, specialized in fresh local produce and wines of character.
The closest small towns are Guémené-sur-Scorff and Rostrenen with restaurants, weekly farmer’s markets, créperies, bars, organic and regular supermarkets as well as record stores and a small cinema.
A sixty minute circular trail around the cottage passes by fields to a seven meter tall menhir in the woods.
